Who the hell works at AKAI/Numark? A bunch of dudes in suits with their jeans too tight and haircuts like Skrillex trying to make the next best controller. People still rocking 2000XL’s for a reason. They aint selling 4000.00 Moogs because they cant sample those sounds into a multisampled patch, its because of the maschine. I think computers have advanced us so much they no one realizes that hardware is still a thing. Imaging the landfills in 20 years full of MPC controller gear. I mean dam, do we need another keyboard controller and pad controller.
They have made so many controller, you would think they would pause for a second. Those things are filling up the used section of Guitar Center to the point you have to scroll a bunch to actually find what you were searching for “MPC”. Ya, did the renaissance do so bad they they thought “hey, lets make another one”.
